KAABOO Music Festival Postponed To 2025

Date:

(North County Beat) – The return of KAABOO, a high-end music festival that has faced multiple lawsuits and ownership changes since 2019, is being postponed once again. Initially scheduled to resume next month at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the event is now planned for September 2025.

Festival Licensing and Acquisition Corporation (FLACC), the latest producers of KAABOO, cited a “shorter-than-expected timeline” and various external challenges as reasons for the delay. This year’s event had no confirmed dates, performers, or ticket sales. The decision aims to ensure a high-quality experience when the festival returns.

The postponement follows a lawsuit filed by the city of Solana Beach over public safety and other concerns, which was settled in April. The delay is a financial setback for the fairgrounds, which was set to receive significant revenue from the event.

Despite past financial and operational troubles, including unresolved refunds from the canceled 2020 festival, FLACC remains optimistic. They plan to use the extra year to create a memorable event for 2025.
